King Jewelers Introduces Concord's C1 Tourbillion Gravity

With a limited edition of only 25 pieces, Concord’s C1 Tourbillon Gravity is quite possibly the most exclusive watch on the market today. Available at King Jewelers in Aventura, Florida, this Tourbillon ranks Concord more firmly than ever in the highest echelons of engineering expertise by affixing the Tourbillon mechanism vertically on the outside of the watch, an unprecedented move.

Developed in partnership with BNB Concept and Blade Design, firms specialized in high-end niche watch creations, the Tourbillon Gravity sums up the very essence of Concord’s boldness and creative energy. This concept piece was conceived, elaborated and assembled in twelve months. CEO Vincent Perriard partnered with these two brands because of their extreme enthusiasm for Concord and their desire to propel Haute Horlogerie into the next generation.

The result was an unexpected, daring and cutting design that put the Tourbillon alongside the body of the watch, thereby freeing up space in the case for many more complications. The Tourbillon, although seemingly disconnected from the movement and case, is actually connected to the rest of the mechanism by a perpendicular pinion.
The upper and lower bridges of the Tourbillon carriage, as most of the movement bridges, are made from aluminum-lithium, an exceptional high-tech material that has proved it’s worth ion the aerospace industry. Anti-corrosive and anti-magnetic, this alloy features the best union of sturdiness and lightness. Because of its difficulty to manufacture and its extreme expense, it is rarely used in watch making.

But the C1 Tourbillon Gravity is astounding in more than one way. A single glance is enough to identify it as a free spirit in the universe of Haute Horlogerie. Not just a Tourbillon disconnected from the case, it also has an unusual seconds indication, a flyback chronograph and a trust index display. This whole range of specific features symbolizes the audacity of a brand that reinvented itself just one year ago.

King Jewelers Launches Piaget in Nasville, TN

Nashville is about to be decked out in diamonds like never before! As King Jewelers launches their new flagship store in the prestigious section of Greenhills, Piaget is set to be one of their most sought-after partners. Piaget watches and jewelry are endorsed and loved by Hollywood celebrities because of the glamour, elegance and style attached to the brand, and now Music City will have the same access to Piaget’s sparkling collections as the inhabitants of Tinseltown.

Piaget
is also taking this time to celebrate the launch of one of their most astounding timepieces, Magic Hours. Magic Hours is an exceptional creation that blends technological innovation with dazzling style and grace. For the very first time, thanks to an invisible mechanism developed in the secrecy of the Piaget workshops, a timepiece is endowed with the unique power to be three watches in one. Thirty-six diamonds light up the opulent elliptical gem-set bezel that turns above a delicately guilloché-patterned dial into something that is, well, quite magical.

Ever since it was founded in 1874, Piaget has been cultivating the spirit of luxury while focusing on creativity, concern for detail, as well as totally integrated watchmaking and jewelery expertise. Originally specializing in the development and production of watch movements, the company broadened its field of know-how in the 1960s in order to launch some amazing jewelery-watches, later followed by innovative jewelery collections. Piaget excels in all that is rare, precious and exceptional. Whether in creating the thinnest existing automatic movement or the worlds most expensive watch, Piaget applies its full range of watchmaking and jewelery-making skills to taking up new challenges. The founders motto, “always do better than necessary,” still governs daily activity in its twin Manufactures based in La Côte-aux-Fées (in the Swiss Jura region) and in Plan-les-Ouates, near Geneva.

Today, Piaget is proud to be one of the last remaining Swiss watch manufactures and to have accumulated a vast range of mastery in the art of jewelery-making with specialized workshops. Confident in this inimitable wealth of expertise, the brand is facing the future with boldness and creativity, while remaining loyal to its traditional values.

One of Hollywood’s hottest rising stars, Zoe Saldana (soon to appear in the new Star Trek film) is also proving to be one of its most stylish, as her love for Piaget has made her an unofficial brand spokesperson. She can often be seen wearing Piaget’s white gold and diamond tonneau shaped timepiece. Usher wears a Piaget watch in his latest video, Trading Places. And who can forget how the wedding between actress Eva Longoria and NBA star Tony Parker was more of a showcase of the unique and alluring jewelry and watches created by Piaget.

Piaget captures the spirit of the times and its creations are signs of a timeless quest for technical mastery, driven by audacity, expertise and imagination.
