KING JEWELERS RAISES OVER 15K FOR WADE’S WORLD FOUNDATION AND BROWARD COUNTY SCHOOLS

Watch enthusiasts, jewelry lovers, and basketball fanatics were in attendance by the hundreds when King Jewelers of Aventura, Florida recently hosted the East Coast launch of the Armaan Swiss Diamond Watch line and unveiled Dwyane Wade as the official spokesman for the brand. To show support for the evening, Shaquille O’Neal and Udonis Haslem joined Dwyane Wade and the King family as they entertained guests with spectacular new collections and an exciting live auction. The event also marked the debut of the Wyler and Concord timepiece collections at King Jeweler's luxury watch salon in Aventura, FL.

The evening benefited DWade’s charity, The Wade’s World Foundation. Wade’s World Foundation provides support to community-based organizations that promote education, health and social skills for children in at-risk situations. Dwyane was inspired to start the foundation because he wanted to give back to underserved communities and support issues of purpose. “I can’t just let basketball define who I am and what I am supposed to become,” said Wade. “Like my mother always tells me, ‘[My life] is bigger than basketball.

But the giving didn’t stop there. The King family also a new toy drive in which more than 200 toys were collected and given to the Broward County School District. The King family, consisting of Maxine and Scott King, their two sons, David and Jono and Maxine’s sister Barbara, is a family with a huge heart. After months of planning for the holiday event, the King’s have already announced that their next charity event will happen in February and will benefit the Miami Country Day School.
